NANS hails Nigerian students on new year, Imploring them to be more Patriotic

The vice President of National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrd. Mohammed A. Tenimu, Justice (GCNS) said through newsmen that, “As we bid farewell to another year and welcome the dawn of a new one, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to each and every one of you. The start of a fresh year presents us with numerous opportunities to grow, learn, and serve our great nation, Nigeria”

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Vice President, alongside the entire leadership, is proud of the resilience and determination displayed by Nigerian students throughout the previous year. Despite the numerous challenges faced, you have shown great strength and commitment to your education and the betterment of our beloved country.

On this occasion, I would like to implore all Nigerian students to embrace patriotism wholeheartedly. Our nation needs us now more than ever. As the future leaders of Nigeria, it is our responsibility to contribute positively towards its development and progress.


We should strive to be patriotic in our thoughts, words, and actions. Let us embrace the values of unity, peace, and progress. Engage in meaningful dialogue, promote tolerance, and seek understanding among ourselves. Together, we can overcome divisive tendencies and work towards building stronger and more united Nigeria.


As students, we have the privilege of acquiring knowledge and expertise that can be harnessed to tackle the numerous challenges facing our nation. Let us use our skills and education for the betterment of our society, promoting innovation, and finding solutions to the problems plaguing Nigeria.


Furthermore, let us actively engage in activities and organizations that promote social causes, volunteerism, and community development. By giving back to our communities and lending a helping hand to the less privileged, we demonstrate true patriotism and contribute to the overall progress of our nation.


In this new year, let us also remember the importance of unity and solidarity. The diversity of our nation is one of our greatest strengths, and we must celebrate and embrace it. Together, we can achieve greatness, break barriers, and create a Nigeria we can all be proud of.


Lastly, I would like to express my utmost gratitude and appreciation to all Nigerian students who have supported and believed in the leadership of NANS. We are committed to serving your interests and ensuring that your voices are heard.
