NANS Commends FG for removing ASUU, ASUP, COEs from IPPIS

NANS commends Nigeria government for removing ASUU, ASUP, COEs from IPPIS, and implore them to continue creating a conducive learning atmosphere for Nigerian students.

The Vice President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Mohammed A. Tenimu, Justice (GCNS) has commended the Nigerian government for their decision to remove the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), and Colleges of Education (COEs) from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

The VP of NANS expressed appreciation for the government’s responsiveness to the demands of these academic unions, leading to their removal from IPPIS. NANS believes that this move will enable the institutions to have more control over their financial systems, allowing for improved administration and management of funds.

Furthermore, NANS implores the Nigerian government to continue creating a conducive learning atmosphere for Nigerian students. They believe that by resolving the issues with ASUU, ASUP, and COEs, the government has taken significant steps towards enhancing the quality of education in the country.
