Some Questions Prophet Muhammad Asked His Four Khalifa Before He Died.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ الْفَاتِحِ لِمَا أُغْلِقَ
❁ وَالْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ ❁ نَاصِرِ الْحَقِّ بِالْحَقِّ ❁
وَالْهَادِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ❁ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ حَقَّ
قَدْرِهِ وَمِقْدَارِهِ الْعَظِيمِ

Allahummah sali alaa sayiddinaa Muhammad, al-faatihi limaa ughuliqa,
wal-khaatimi limaa sabaqa, naasiri-l-haqq bil haqq, wal-haadii ilaa
siraatika-l-mustaqeem, wa alaa aalihi, haqqa qadrihi wa
miqdaarihi-l-adheem!

Oh Allah, Bless our Master Muhammad, the Opener of what has been Closed, the
Seal of what had gone before(Antiquity), Helper of the Truth by the Truth,
the Guide to Your Straight path, and upon his households, as is the due of
his immense position and grandeur!

In the name of Allah the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

One day, the Prophet Muhammad (may peace of ALLAH be upon him) sat with his
companions (may ALLAH be pleased with them all). He asked them starting (from
Abu Bakr)

What do you love in this world?

He said: I love three things in the world:

Sitting with you,
Looking at your face,
spending my wealth over you.

And you (Oh Umar): What do you love in this world?

He said: I love three things in the world:

Enjoining goodness even if it is in secret,
Forbidding evil even if it is in public,
Speaking the truth even if it is bitter.

And you (Oh Uthman): What do you love in this world?

He said I love three things in the world:

Feeding the poor,
Spreading salam (salam alaykum),
And praying at night while people are sleeping.

And you (Oh Ali): What do you love in this world?

He said I love three things in the world:

Honouring the visitor.
Fasting during the summer.
And striking the enemy with sword.

He then asked (Abu Dharr al Gifariy): What do you love in the world?

He said I love three things in the world:

Hunger,
Sickness,
And death.

The Prophet (may peace and blessing of ALLAH be upon him) said: But why?

He (Abu Dharr) said:

I love hunger in order to soften my heart.
I love sickness in order to lessen my sin.
And I love death in order to meet my Lord.

At that time, Jibril (may peace be upon him) descended and greeted them with
salam and said, I love three things in your people’s world:

Conveying the message,
Delivering the trust,
Loving the needy.

He then ascended the heaven and descended once again and said:

ALLAH THE MOST HIGH and the GRANDEUR is greeting you with salam and He (ALLAH)
said, HE loves three things in your people’s world: The tongue that is full
of;

Remembrance,
A humble heart.
The patient body during the affliction.

This message is worthy of sending to someone else.

Don’t forget saying these three (3) prayers in your Sujood;

Allahumma inni asaluka husnal khatimah,
Allahumma arziqni tawbatan nasuuhatan qablal mawtu,
Allahumma yaa muqallibal quluub thabbit qalbiy ‘alaa diinik

You want success; observe salat in its due time.
You want facial illumination; stick to night prayer.
You want welfare; stick to Qur’an recitation.
You want health; stick to fast.
You want relief; stick to istigfaar.
You want to be free from trouble; stick to supplication.
You want to be free from hardship; always say laa hawla walaa quwwata illa
billah.
You want blessing; always send salat (peace & salutation) upon the Holy
Prophet (Peace be upon Him)
You want reward without stress;
